Federal Prison Consultants, LLC was created with over 200 years of combined paralegal, criminal justice and corrections experience with experts who function as federal prison & state prison advocates and federal & state sentencing mitigation specialists, who are preeminent in the field of federal & state prisoner rehabilitation, rights and advocacy.

Our Corporate Offices are located in Wilmington, Delaware. Federal Prison Consultants, LLC has teamed up with The Regus Group Network, which has offices and meeting rooms all across the United States, in hundreds of cities. Face-to-face meetings are usually reserved for trial preparation or expert witness testimony. The majority of our clients do not go to trial and teleconferencing is the preferred method of communication, since most of our federal and state prison or sentencing consultants are retired paralegal, criminal justice and/or correctional professionals.

We are available to document or testify in most areas of corrections or the prison system as a Corrections Expert Witness and as Sentencing Specialists, who provide the necessary documents to assist with pre-sentencing and post-sentencing matters.



Our company is a documented Nationwide Expert in Federal Prison and State Prison Reduction Strategies, as well as noted specialists who also function as federal sentencing consultants and
state sentencing consultants . Several of our federal prison specialists have worked or retired directly with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, located at www.BOP.gov or the U.S. Department of Justice and/or the U.S. Probation Department and Pretrial Services Division, located at www.USDOJ.gov . We also have state prison specialists on staff who have worked or retired directly with various State Correctional Systems.

We offer a free assessment consultation with our Managing Director, Ed Bales. Our primary function is to provide expert research and recommendations via pre and post-sentencing reports to federal and state defendants or inmates, as well as their families and criminal defense attorneys, while functioning as an advocate, with regard to the Federal Bureau of Prisons or State Department of Corrections and their related prison policies and/or programs, that may change a condition of confinement or provide needed and/or recommended rehabilitation that may contribute to a prison sentence reduction , community custody or some other alternative to incarceration. We also assist with strategic planning in pre-sentencing and post-sentencing matters by providing a professional assessment, including recommended sentencing or correctional options that may or may not be based on downward departure strategies or alternative sentencing options.

The main function of our consulting services is to provide our expert experience by way of verbal communications and/or to assist with information and/or documentation by way of Pre or Post Prison and/or Sentencing Recommendation Reports and/or related documents, experience and/or knowledge by way of consultations and/or written documents. It is the clients responsibility to be sure that our communications or documents are received by the appropriate parties. All follow-up is done as a courtesy to the client, however, it is the responsibility of the client to confirm delivery of all communications and/or documents to anyone, including third-parties, sent by our company, which are usually sent by two-day express mail by U.S. Post Office or Federal Express, at the clients expense, unless otherwise directed by the client, in writing and again at the clients expense. Clients are responsible for all fees and confirmation of delivery of all emailed, faxed or mailed documents. On the request of the client, clients will be emailed, faxed or mailed a draft copy to review for accuracy. Federal Prison Consultants, LLC is not responsible for errors and/or omissions. If the client requests the review of a draft, once reviewed, approved and signed off by the client, documents will be mailed. Clients are responsible to notify us when the Case Manager or Unit Team discuss any community corrections programs, such as Community Corrections Center Placement (also known as Half-way House), Home Confinement or House Arrest Placement. This is usually done a year or so in advance of the completion of the sentence. We will then act accordingly on those remaining services, if they are part of the services the client retained us to complete. Once our consulting services are initiated, the determined total fee is not refundable by any means, including, but not limited to personal or business checks, bank checks, cashier's checks, money orders, credit cards, Paypal or wire transfers. Failure to oblige by this will result in possible civil and/or criminal penalties. Your signature below hereby acknowledges your agreement to everything in this disclaimer. Our Release Agreement and all other agreement and/or documents are limited to the consulting services noted on our web site. Any other consulting services not listed on our web site must be listed, described and documented in writing by both the client and Federal Prison Consultants, LLC. We are not responsible for errors that a client may make regarding services not listed, described or documented on our web site. No document or agreement may be modified in any way, unless approved in writing by Federal Prison Consultants, LLC.
